Write for us
Urban Future Guide welcomes pitches that help readers see city streets, shared spaces, buildings, or urban change with fresh precision. We are interested in clear, grounded ideas, not claims that one design or solution fits every place.
What to pitch
Propose an original article with a defined subject, a clear point for the reader, and a reason it belongs in this publication. Pieces might explain an urban pattern, compare different forms of public space, trace the history of a city feature, or offer a close reading of a particular kind of place.
What makes a strong proposal
Send a short outline that names the central question, the main points you would cover, and the sources or examples that could support them. Make the intended reader clear, note any limits in the available evidence, and explain how the piece differs from a general overview.
How to send it
Submit proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a brief introduction to your idea and any relevant writing samples you would like us to consider. An idea is not a commission unless it is agreed as one.
